The impact of a multi-disciplinary asset-based approach to early intervention on the development of pre-term babies, as well as the quality of life and lifestyle of the family/caregivers in the Witbank and Hammanskraal areas

The positive impact of early intervention on the development of pre-term babies has already been proved in developing countries. In this study, the results from research done in developed countries are adapted, expanded by incorporating the socio-economic and social factors and applied in two developing areas in the South African context, whereby capacity building and community development are part of the primary aim
