An investigation into the incidence of stress fractures in military recruits, anatomical distribution of the lesions and bone density, and the plasma levels of calciotropic hormones

It has been said that the incidence and distribution of stress fractures differ in blacks and whites. The project is undertaken to evaluate this claim, and to look for possible explanations if racial differences in respect of stress fractures indeed exist
