Selected Highlights from Research Findings
Water from two poverty-stricken communities in the Limpopo Province as well as water from a source dam in Gauteng was found to be contaminated with estrogenic chemicals. This has far-reaching implications for environmental health, and animal and human reproductive health.

The environmental organochlorine pesticide DDT was found to have effects on male reproductive parameters. Seminal volume, sperm morphology and motility negatively correlated with serum DDE levels of non-occupationally exposed men.
