Theatre and Drama in Education
This fieldinvestigates the relationship between drama and theatre, as well as the utilization of drama and theatre as methodology within an educational context. Focus areas of educational drama and theatre is to establish a ho-listic learning process, based on experiences which will involve students ac-tively in their own learning processes and to make an active effort to empower role players. The change in emphasis from teacher as educator to teacher as facilitator of the learning process within a specific educational context is exa-mined. With regard to this, the different approaches of the pioneers in this field will be looked into.
