Weather Forecast
Short term weather forecasting research is undertaken with the aim to improve weather forecasting techniques. Utlizing Numerical Weather Prediction Models the synoptic circulation as well as the physical characteristics of the atmosphere are investigated in order to accurately predict potential life threatening phenomena such as floods.
