Selected Highlights from Research Findings
Research has proceeded on the development of new techniques for the accurate prediction of rainfall. Two heavy rainfall identification systems were developed. The systems have been designed to operate in a forecasting office and comprise the first objective heavy rainfall prediction system available in South Africa.
