Hydroponic pathology

The main focus is the etiology and control of Pythium wilt and root rot in hydroponic systems. A disease control strategy is being developed for the different types of systems. A range of Pythium isolates have been isolated from the main hydroponic crops. These isolates are now being identified and screened for pathogenicity
