Pharmacological regulation of phagocyte activation in chronic inflammatory disorders
To identify novel molecular targets which modulate the harmful pro-inflammatory activities of human leucocytes and to develop pharmacological strategies based on these targets. The results of this project are applicable to the treatment of chronic inflammatory disorders such as bronchial asthma and rheumatoid arthritis
