Psychiatric symptomatology and the physiology of psychiatric symptoms

Dissociative symptoms are studied in their concurrent presentation with other psychiatric symptoms, such as anxiety, psychotic, and depressive symptoms, and they are studied in various psychiatric disorders and general medical conditions. Furthermore, physiological correlates of dissociative and anxiety symptoms are examined, which include electro-encephalometric, endocrine, and biochemical correlates
