The ageing male

The growth in numbers of the aged population necessitates research into the promotion of healthy ageing and the prevention of disability in older people. Effective promotion of healthy ageing will improve quality of life. Interventions such as hormone replacement therapy may alleviate debilitating conditions associated with male ageing
