The Control group undertakes research of both an applied and fundamental nature. Applied research is conducted in the fields of modelling and system identification, nonlinear and predictive control, hybrid systems, and the processes involved in establishing controllers for industrial processes. Fundamental research is performed in the fields of hybrid systems, nonlinear control, and guidance and control of autonomous vehicles
