This theme focuses on evaluation and assessment policies and practices at school level. One aspect involved is looking for effective and valid ways to implement policies advocated by the latest curriculum policy documents, such as continuous assessment and outomes-based assessment. The research will address questions of how to organise, measure, analyse and report new assessment approaches in every day education practice.
