Tobacco control

Controlling the use of all tobacco products is fundamental to prevention and control of oral cancer and periodontal (gum) disease. Our tobacco control research includes traditional tobacco products - 'smoked' hand-rolled tobaccos and 'smokeless' snuff or chew tobaccos. Research involves product toxicology, behavioural epidemiology, cessation services within dental care settings and policy
