Ecology of wildlife and wildlife management

The ecology and behaviour of the larger carnivores are studied as a basis for the conservation and management of larger carnivores on large official and private conservation areas. A study of the ontogeny of behaviour in the African buffalo: The influence of social behaviour on production, herd formation and herd composition in the buffalo is being studied to improve buffalo management in large conservation areas
